21st Century Studies, Center for
A postdoctoral research institute founded in 1968 to foster crossdisciplinary research in the humanities.
Great Lakes WATER Institute, UWS/UWM
The largest academic freshwater research facility on the Great Lakes, housing the following centers and research units:

CTSI is a new regional biomedical collaboration between UWM, the Medical College of Wisconsin, Marquette University, the Milwaukee School of Engineering, the Blood Center of Wisconsin, Children's Hospital, and Froedtert Hospital..
