21st Century Studies, Center for
A postdoctoral research institute founded in 1968 to foster crossdisciplinary research in the humanities.
NIEHS Children's Environmental Health Sciences Center
The federally funded Center, housed in the Great Lakes WATER Institute, connects basic, clinical and public health scientists so that they can carry out significant studies of children's developmental diseases and disorders, ultimately identifying the environmental determinants of such conditions.
Surface Studies, Laboratory for
Interdisciplinary research on the structure and properties of solid surfaces and their interaction with atoms and molecules.
