Researcher Central: Tools and information to help PIs succeed

Institutional Profile, Reports, and Resource Information

It is not unusual for sponsors, particularly not-for-profit organizations, to ask for information about the applicant institution. This may take the form of requesting, for example, background information demonstrating the strengths or a school or college, specific reports or audits, and/or describing University resources. The following links should help you in gathering the necessary materials. Some reports, such as the Legislative Audit (which includes a section for the University of Wisconsin System) are extremely long. In such cases, it has been the practice in the Office of Sponsored Programs to print only the most relevant pages of a report for the sponsor and to provide the sponsor with a link to the entire report. See Frequently Requested Information for specific information such as the UWM Federal Tax ID number.
