Technology Innovation Center

The Technology Innovation Center (TIC) is the Milwaukee County Research Park's 137,000-square foot, award-winning business incubator for start-up, technology-based businesses. Since opening its doors in 1993, the TIC has attracted over 115 firms; currently 53 companies with over 250 employees occupy space in the building. The majority of the companies are in information technologies (60%), followed by medical devices and biotechnology (25%). The remaining 15% are in electronic equipment, engineering, composite materials, industrial automation, and other technologies. The TIC has approximately 12,000 square feet of state-of-the wet laboratories equipped with appropriate fixtures and shared equipment in a core services facility. Tenants enjoy dedicated conference rooms, affordable high-bandwidth access to the Internet, access to corporate and university affiliates of the research park, networking opportunities with other tenants, monthly business seminars, and many additional business resources.
